What we do

Association for Real Change (ARC) exists to improve the quality of life for people who have a learning disability by supporting anyone who is involved in the planning or delivery of support and services.

what we do

Current members are organisations from within the statutory, private and voluntary sector and we welcome this diversity as it encourages cross-sector collaboration.

As a leading umbrella body representing the learning disability sector we provide:

  • Support, training and information to improve governance, leadership and management;
  • Collaborative opportunities, building partnerships acting as an honest broker across sectors
  • Opportunities for increasing the voice of providers and people who use services to influence change

Some of the benefits of membership include:

  • Access to ARC’s knowledge and experience
  • Access to networks of cross-sector peer support
  • Discounted training and events
  • Discounted room hire facilities
