Support & Develop

ARC exists to improve the quality of life for people who have a learning disability and we aim to achieve this through supporting the development of a competent, qualified and committed workforce. We offer a range of training to members and non-members on a range of topics relevant to the wider social care sector.

support and develop

ARC’s history of enabling organisations to commit in a meaningful way to user engagement, and increasing the voice of a people with a learning disability has resulted in us having expertise. We can provide organisations with advice, guidance and models of implementation as part of a consultancy service enabling them to put into practice user engagement in consultations, policy development and any decision-making processes.

ARC is a registered umbrella body with Access NI and can provide support to an individual or organisation processing applications. This is to ensure those working with the most vulnerable adults are suitable to do so.
