Positive Risk Taking Training Course/Distance Learning

This course covers principles and understanding of positive risk taking for individuals with disabilities in health and social care.

This interactive training package is available in two formats; as a delivered one day course and as a Distance/Open Learning course.

The course has been designed to ensure it covers the learning Outcomes of units:

  • LD 205 Principles of positive risk taking for individuals with disabilities
  • LD 305 Understanding positive risk taking for individuals with disabilities

Assessment

We have designed workbooks to accompany these packs, so that learners can complete their learning, answer the questions in the workbook, and have their workbook assessed by our appropriately qualified assessors.

Course information:

This is a one-day course that will be delivered by our experienced trainer. The course will take you through the learning outcomes in a fun and interactive way. There will be presentations, activities/exercises, individual, pairs and group work all to enable you to gain the knowledge and understanding for this unit.

At the end of the day there will be the opportunity to complete one of the workbooks for unit LD205 or LD 305. ARC assessors will assess the workbook, and IQA will also take place.
