angie-deliddiardARC England is delighted to announce the appointment of Angela DeLiddiard as our new Qualifications Centre Manager.

Angela, who is taking over the reins from Gill Shaw who is due to retire shortly, has worked for ARC for 15 years as a Development Officer (ARC Assessor and IQA) and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Health and Social Care and the Learning Disability Sector, having worked and trained in the field of Learning Disabilities for the best part of 30 years since leaving secondary education.

The knowledge and experience Angela has means she is very well placed to further develop ARC’s range of high quality qualifications, training courses and publications in her role as ARC Qualifications Centre Manager, individually tailoring the approach to meet the personalised and specialised requirements of each service.

Angela stated; “I am keen to support all the organisations that access our Centre and to listen to their unique requirements in order to enable them to achieve a qualified workforce that promotes quality services.”

“As someone who started their own learning journey and development through a YTS (Youth Training Scheme) all those years ago, I am passionate about staff development and training within the workplace, which promotes the delivery of a high quality, person focussed approach for the individual’s we ultimately support.”

Lisa Lenton, ARC England Director, said, “A huge heartfelt thank you to Gill Shaw for her many years of dedication to and management of ARC’s outstanding Qualifications Centre; we wish her happiness in her retirement. We welcome Angela to the team and look forward to exploring her ideas to creatively support learners, organisations and the social care workforce.”
