Celebrating excellence in supporting people with learning disabilities

Nominations for the 2015 National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards are now open and ARC’s Interim Chief Executive, Anthea Sully, has been invited this year to judge two of the categories.

Last year ARC judged the Peoples’ Award category, where we had the pleasure of meeting seven nominees and the people who work with them who had been nominated by local people across England for their valuable contribution to others.

This year, Anthea is judging the Great Autism Practice Award and she is looking forward to meeting the nominees during the judging day taking place in March.

Being held at the Botanical Gardens, Birmingham, on 15 May 2015 the awards will celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and autism and pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care. The pre-awards conference and exhibition aims to showcase services and products to support this sector and inform delegates about the latest developments and innovations.

Last year over 300 delegates attended the show during the day and 450 guests attended the awards in the evening.

If you would like to nominate a friend, colleague, manager, employer, member of staff, member of your team please complete the Nomination Form or see The National Learning Disabilities Awards website.

Closing date for entries is 27 February 2015.
