Image: LaDDERLearning Disability Diversity and Equality Review (LaDDER) is ARC’s new information service about developments that will have an impact in delivering good practice regarding equality and diversity within learning disability services.

Our first e-newsletter contains eight updates around learning disability and diversity including details of a free event Are You Listening? which is being co-hosted by ARC and Bild on 9 November in London.

At this event we aim to review what on-going pieces of work are supporting people from ethnic minorities with learning disabilities and reinvigorate this agenda, plus share ideas for continuing to develop good practice. Visit the Are You Listening? event page to download a programme and for details of how to register your interest in attending.

We hope to send out the LaDDER information newsletters every three months to share news and updates and we will be very happy to hear from you and share any news that you have. Later we will be developing an interactive site for people to share their updates and ideas.

The newsletter is available to download, but if you’d like to receive the next issue straight to your email in-box, please contact Liz Soames on liz.soames@arcuk.org.uk or 01246 555 043.
