On 4th April 2014, ARC Member Hft will be hosting an assistive technology conference at the Liverpool Football Club which will look at ways technology can help people with learning disabilities, and those who support them, to monitor health and wellbeing.

The conference, ‘Supporting good health and wellbeing for people with learning disabilities: Using personalised technology for early intervention, detection and prevention’ will be Chaired by Steve Barnard, Hft’s Strategic Director of Innovation. The Keynote Speaker is HRH The Princess Royal, who will be attending to lend her support in her capacity as Patron to Hft.

It is designed to build on Hft’s work with the dallas/Mi partnership by opening up a dialogue about the role of personalised technology for early detection, prevention and intervention of health concerns.

If you are interested in attending the conference or require any further details, please download the Hft conference flyer or visit the Hft website.
