Focus photography competition winners announced

ARC would like to congratulate everyone who submitted photos for our annual photography competition; unfortunately we could only choose four winners!

This photo was taken by David Robertson in the Forest of Dean as part of a digital photography class with a brief to use his creative eye to capture something memorable. David created a 3D visual effect using his own glasses and objects he found in the forest. We like the imagination behind this picture and David’s attention to detail.

This is a photo of Brett Hornby in his studio during an art sessions, starting his painting. Some of his artwork is visible in the background and we like his involvement and concentration in his talent.

This photo of Tiegan Owen was taken after he had just discovered the thrill of bike riding again. Tiegan had come back from a trip out and happily took the opportunity to give one of his best poses. We like how natural this pose is and shows his enthusiasm at being out on his bike.

This photo of Clare Buchanan was taken during the group’s adaptation of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Clare played the part of Titania, Queen of the Fairies, a role she looks comfortable in. Other photos from the performance show how much the group enjoyed themselves and how well they did. We like the serenity in this photo, alongside the natural environment and beautiful costume.

We would like thank all of you who took the time and effort to enter the competition.
