Make a wish…

Have you ever thought about the improvements you could make to the lives of the people you support if you had some financial backing?

Well, a £5,000 pot of funding is available courtesy of Real Life Options, named the David Wandless Training Bursary, after RLO’s founder, for the purposes of training and development – for the good of the people you support.

The bursary is to help you to gain knowledge and develop skills for the benefit of others, your profession and community.

If you have a great idea, but need a little money to get the wheels in motion, simply download and complete this application form. Be as creative as you like! And remember, multiple applications are welcomed, and can be for varying sums of money, whether £5 or the full £5,000.

Applications for the bursary are open to all of our England member organisations (including Real Life Options) who share the common goal of a commitment to supporting people with a learning disability to live inclusive, active and purposeful lives by providing high quality, person-centred services.

* Please note that to be eligible for this funding you must have paid your ARC membership for 2014/15.

Closing date for received applications is 31st January 2015.
