Handling Medication in Social Care Settings is all about the right procedure to handle medication for someone else in a safe and person-centred way. The training contains a great deal of information and is divided into 8 sections such as the principles of care, legal frameworks, self-medication and assisted medication, safe handling, teamwork and information sharing.
This Handling Medication in Social care Settings Train the Trainer one-day course is designed for already competent trainers giving them additional information and advice on how to deliver their own Handling Medication in Social Care Settings programmes.
On completion trainers will be fully equipped to deliver this course in their workplace. The train the trainer course includes the Trainer’s Manual containing guidance, handouts and slides.
