Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services

The Level 5 qualification replaces the level 4 NVQ in Leadership and Management for Care Services and the level 4 NVQ in Health & Social Care.

These qualifications remain valid and relevant as does the RMA.

Managers are required by the regulations to have the ‘necessary qualifications, skills and experience’ to carry on the regulated activity. Skills for Care advise that this is the relevant qualification.
