Progress Scotland facilitates an Advisory Group to guide our work in Aberdeenshire. The Advisory Group includes:
- people with learning difficulties
- service providers
- local authority representatives
- NHS Grampian representatives
- A Community Planning Officer.
Action Points
The Advisory Group has met several times and is working on the following Action Points:
- Support the Self Advocate Group
- Start new Self Advocacy groups
- Support the Advisory Group
- Charter for Involvement
- Spread the word about Progress Scotland
- Help workers think about more creative ways to support people
- Promote citizen leadership
- Organise Training
