Developed from a Department of Health funded project, Candle (CAMHS and new directions in learning disability and ethnicity) offers resources and guidance covering the key areas of mental health, learning disability, ethnicity and transition.
It focuses on practical steps for frontline staff to promote and maintain mental health and what to do if there are concerns.
Designed in an easy-to-follow format, Candle can be used as an aid to training, a discussion tool in meetings/supervision, or as an ‘off-the-shelf’ training guide.
