If you answer YES to any of the following questions, then attending a TILII Course could be for you.
Do you:
- work with people who have a learning disability?
- want to hear what the people you support think staff need to know?
Who are we?
We are men and women with a learning disability. There are 4 TILII Groups in Northern Ireland that offer staff training courses. There are 2 in the South-Eastern HSC Trust and 2 in the Belfast HSC Trust. We have been working together to learn to speak up for ourselves. We want to teach staff about learning disability.
About the course
You will learn:
- what we can do
- what is important to us
- how to provide us with the right support
- how you can get the right attitude.
