ARC NI is registered with Access NI as an umbrella body and are able to make applications on behalf of unregistered organisations
There are a number of reasons why you may consider using ARC NI as an umbrella body:
- Your organisation is small
- You require only a small number of checks in the year
- You do not want to pay the registration fee
- You need help and assistance in order to comply with the Access NI Code of Practice
- You need help with the interpretation of the information in a disclosure from a more experienced user.
As a registered umbrella organisation with Access NI, the ARC NI Disclosure Service will provide:
- A cost effective service. No registration fee, just pay for the checks you need. One administration fee per application covers checking forms and all enquiries needed.
- A checking service to ensure applications are accurate and processed promptly to Access NI. This will assist employers engaging staff as soon as possible.
- Model policies & forms so that you meet the Access NI Code of Practice requirements.
- Updates on procedure and dissemination of good practice on an ongoing basis.
- A direct interface with Access NI and support for your organisation in interpreting information to ensure the highest levels of safety in engaging personnel.
- Workshops on issues arising from criminal records processes.
