Our Project

Here to Stay is a five year national study into a situation of people with learning disabilities from ethnic minority communities and new migrant communities living in England.

We know very little about the population of people with learning disabilities from ethnic minority communities and new migrant communities. We need to increase our knowledge about this population. We want to know how many people access the learning disability services and how many don’t. We also want to know what happens to those who do not use the services. Moreover, we want to know what needs they have and what services they require. Our wish is to improve their situation so that they could grow the roots.
