Welcome to the ARC BME Unit
The Black and Minority Ethnicity Unit (BME) at ARC has an important role in ensuring that services, information and support delivered to people with learning disabilities within the UK reflects their culturally diverse requirements and the communities in which they live.
The BME Unit has been running since 2002 but has been working on improving the lives of people with a learning disability from ethnic minority communties since 2000.
The BME Unit works on projects, publications, consultancy and training in the delivery of culturally competent services.
