Next Wave 2011 was held at the Somerset County Cricket Club on Tuesday 17th May 2011
This year’s Next Wave conference was a big success. More than 70 delegates attended the conference and were entertained with the Misfits Theatre company with two pieces; ‘what quality means to us’ and ‘what relationships mean to us’.
The keynote debates explored the tension between the Human Rights Act and Safeguarding with regard to service users’ relationships.
How can services avoid over-reacting or under-reacting?
Where do we draw ‘the line in the sand’?
