Naidex is thrilled to be partnered with the Association for Real Change for the 2017 event that leads the way for the disability and independent living sector. The 43rd instalment of Naidex has been designed to be the most comprehensive and exciting exhibition and conference dedicated to disability and independent living in the history of the event.
Over the 28th, 29th, and 30th of March at the Birmingham NEC, Naidex will host over 200 exhibitors and 185 educational and inspirational CPD accredited seminars and workshops with some of the best speakers in the field.
One such speaker is Richard Shakespeare of Richard Shakespeare Disability Consultants Ltd. who will be speaking about the need to move past classroom training and how using a dynamic approach to learning is the best way to make the most of any training, as well as getting the highest return from making your business more inclusive.
Naidex speakers are not only experts in their fields, many of them have knowledge and expertise developed from personal experience. Mark Esho, a successful entrepreneur, was presented with a number of hurdles in life (including contracting polio at the age of 5 which left him paralysed from the waist down) but has used them as steps to get himself ahead. His talk ‘How to Turn Adversity into a Business Advantage’ outlines how people who have a disability are at an advantage as they have developed problem solving skills in day to day life that can be used in business, or any other number of areas.
Simon Stevens is another Naidex speaker who is speaking from personal experience. Simon is an independent disability consultant and his talk will focus on the current climate of British society and how it is coping with the rising demand for a more inclusive and accepting environment for those affected by an impairment or disability.
Naidex 2017 is an event that is not to be missed, and best of all, tickets are completely free! To register for tickets and view the full list of speakers, partners, and suppliers, check out the website.
