ARC Restructured

Intensive Interaction in day services – what long term effects?

Coping with Cuts and cutting back

The New ARC

ARC has recently undergone an exciting restructuring and I want to let members know what they can expect from the reconfigured organisation, and reveal the new opportunities we have planned for networking and engaging with other members.

Intensive Interaction

Rachel Black is a research assistant at Sheffield University, working on a project about staff perspectives of Intensive Interaction in Day Services, and she is keen to present her findings to us.

Plus . . .

Cuts and cutting back seem to be on everyone’s agenda at the moment and Bob Stanton of Merlin Professional Services has worked extensively across local authorities in the Midlands on the comparative cost of residential care and supported living. He has helped them save a combined £18m, and I am hopeful that he can free himself up to come along and tell you how these savings can be made, and what the future commissioning trends are.

Members and non-members are welcome.
