NEW Train the Trainer Course!

As part of an FSA (Financial Services Authority) funded project ARC and United Response are developing new materials to help people with a learning disability plan for their future.

The materials will be in the form of a website, guidebook and a training programme. All take individuals through information about living independently and what that really means, including how they can and will pay for things, the support they can get and any benefits available to them.

ARC has now developed the Training Programme and are running 6 Train the Trainer sessions for those interested in this excellent interactive and accessible training package. These sessions are for staff who are working or will be working with people with a learning disability who will be moving on and planning ahead now and in the future.

The Train the Trainer course will take staff through the Trainer’s Manual giving additional information and advice on how to deliver this excellent course and support individuals with a learning disability to plan ahead.
