Basic Steps; our Suite of training that delivers the Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ) Induction Award

This suite of training not only enables you to complete the LDQ Induction but also meets the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards (Adult) and will give you the underpinning knowledge necessary to achieve the core units of the Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2. You will also have much of the knowledge needed for the core units at level 3. Basic Steps, like the LDQ, is available at level 2 or level 3.

All of Basic Steps training also meets the Learning Outcomes of the new European Care Certificate, which is now available.




Delivered CourseThe Delivered course also includes the TASS UK Assessment Booklets and registration forms for City & Guilds or NOCN.

Distance LearningThe Distance Learning Pack includes the TASS UK Assessment Booklet and registration forms for City & Guilds or NOCN.

Trainer's ManualThe Trainer’s Manual requires you to work with an LDQ Centre to get your pack accredited, the LDQ Centre will provide Registration, Marking, Verification and Certification through an Awarding Body.

Delivered CourseBasic Steps Delivered course

We can come to your organisation and deliver the Basic Steps LDQ Induction Award over 6 days to a maximum of 15 people. The course includes time to complete the Assessment Books.

We can deliver the 6 days in any arrangement to suit your organisational needs; this may be 2 days per week over 3 weeks, 6 weeks, or 1 day per week, or even 6 days concurrently!

The cost of the course includes training delivery, handout packs, registration, marking, verification and certification.
