Thursday 18 September 2008

Total Transformation – Hampshire County Council promised ‘total transformation’ of Learning Disability services after its ‘ordinary people’ consultation exercise. How close are they on delivering this and what are the possible outcomes for your service? What are the implications and business opportunities for services in other authority areas? Karen George (Commissioning Officer, Learning Disability) will be at the meeting to gaze into her crystal ball and answer your questions.

Direct Payments – Direct payments and personalised services are widely touted as ‘the future’. How can we make them work for people using Domiciliary Care services? Jessica Allen from The Care Division is here to tell us.

PLUS all the usual news, views, issues and inside information.

AND all the latest training, funding and money-saving opportunities.

Members and non-members are welcome.
Attendance, covering all catering, is £7.50 per person (payable in advance).
